Peek SEO Insights ("Peek") is a Chrome extension developed by That's Rank that provides SEO analysis of webpages. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices.

Data Collection

Peek does not collect, store, or transmit any user data.

The extension operates entirely within your browser and only processes webpage content when you explicitly click the extension icon to analyze the current page.

Information Processing

When you use Peek, it:

• Analyzes the content of the currently active tab (HTML, metadata, images)
• Makes a request to fetch the robots.txt file from the website you're already visiting
• Displays analysis results in the extension popup

All processing happens locally in your browser. No information is:

• Transmitted to our servers or third parties
• Stored persistently
• Tracked across browsing sessions
• Used to identify you

Permissions

Peek requires certain permissions to function:

• activeTab: To access and analyze the content of your current webpage
• scripting: To execute scripts that extract SEO information
• host_permissions: To analyze any website you choose to visit
